SCIM Integration Requirements
To set up SCIM with Athelas Scribe, you will need to configure a SCIM application within your Identity Provider using the following details. SCIM Base URL: The unique endpoint for your organization’s SCIM integration. This will be provided to you by the Commure team. It will follow this format: https://rcm-api.athelas.com/v1/scribe/{site_id}/scim/v2/ Authorization Token: A secret Bearer Token used to authenticate requests from your IdP to Athelas Scribe. This will also be provided by the Commure team. Attribute Mapping: You must configure your IdP to map your user attributes to the Athelas Scribe SCIM schema. Use the following JSON template to guide your configuration.SCIM User Schema Template:
SCIM Implementation Steps
- Request SCIM Enablement: Contact the Commure implementation team to request that SCIM provisioning be enabled for your organization.
- Receive Configuration Details: Our team will securely provide you with your unique SCIM Base URL and Authorization Token.
- Configure Your Identity Provider: Your IT team will use the provided details and the attribute mapping schema to set up and configure the SCIM application within your IdP.
- Testing: Assign test users to the SCIM application in your IdP to ensure that user creation, updates (e.g., name or NPI changes), and deactivation function as expected.
- Activation: Once testing is successfully completed, you can enable the integration for all authorized users in your organization.
